Social Networking I'm finding social networking to be a great way to stay in touch online with friends, colleagues, and comrades. Bear in mind I am a private person in general (yeah I know -- I picked a perfectly anonymous profession) so I usually keep personal information offered at these places to a minimum. I also manager social media for other businesses and organizations. Check out Edmonton Resource Network for more information. Facebook is where I do the bulk of my social networking. You have to be on my friends list or else you will see nothing. Twitter - Small soundbites from my day. LinkedIn is where I make business connections. Tumblr is a fun and easy way to share links, photos, and other items of interest. Idon't really have a theme for my Tumblr, and mostly use it as another way of posting my own work. StumbleUpon allows me to favourite and share cool things brought to my attention at random around the web. MySpace - Back in the day when MySpace was the standard for social networking, I signed up for one. I've kept it online for archival purposes. |
